St. Matthew’s offers the following events to expand students’ growth and experience outside of the classroom :

Athletics
To challenge the body as well as the mind, St. Matthew’s students may participate in athletic opportunities. The goals are to develop God-given skills in physical abilities, teamwork, competition, and Christian sportsmanship.

Music
To nurture the students’ musical interests and abilities, these musical offerings may be a part of the classroom experience or some may be selected as additions to a student’s overall program.

- Children’s Christmas service
- Classroom Hymn sing

- Singing at local congregations
Service
Just as our Savior provided the model of service for mankind, we encourage our students to serve those around them. Ways that students and parents can serve others include:
- Booster Club
- Doing activities with and singing for those in care communities
- Care packages for service men and women
- Ushering for church services
- Providing childcare while parents have meetings
